Mazda's Keyless Entry System allows you to unlock and start your car using just one keyfob. To keep the transmitter and receiver fully synchronized, a code of 40 bits is generated each time the keyfob button is hit. The codes are generated by the transmitter and receiver by a pseudo-random generator to ensure that they don't repeat.
